Jason Paul "J" Brown (born 13 June 1976) is an English former singer. He is best known as a former member, singer and rapper of boy band Five.

Career

In 1997, Brown auditioned for Five, a new boy band-style group with "attitude and edge" and was eventually selected to be part of the band along with Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Sean Conlon and Abz Love. Five subsequently were signed by Simon Cowell and BMG/RCA for a six-album deal. Five went on to enjoy massive success worldwide, selling over 20 million records in their four years. [1] The band split up on 27 September 2001. [2] During this time, Brown experienced depression and attempted suicide. [3] After the disbandment, Brown devoted his time to charity work and several protests against Iraq War. [4] In 2006 Five attempted a comeback without Conlon, but failed to sign with a new label and the band disbanded again. [5] [6] In 2007 Brown was third place in the seventh series of ITV's reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! . [7] [8]

Since 2002, Brown has left his artistic career to pursue a degree in architecture. [9] In January 2013, Five returned to star the ITV2's reality show The Big Reunion , but Brown declined to join the group again, claiming he didn't feel comfortable on stage. [10]

The discography of English boy band Five consists of four studio albums, four compilation albums, eighteen singles, fourteen music videos and three video albums. Five's debut album, 5ive, was released by RCA Records in the United Kingdom in June 1998 and peaked at number one on the UK Albums Chart and has been certified double platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The Big Reunion is a British reality-documentary series that began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013. The show featured chart-topping bands who were big in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme followed them as they reunited for the first time in a decade and went through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance.

The first series of the British reality-documentary series The Big Reunion began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013 until 28 March 2013. The show features chart-topping bands who were big names in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme follows them as they reunite for the first time in a decade and go through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance. The bands who reunited for the first series were Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Honeyz and Liberty X. Blue also joined later on.

The Loud and Intimate Tour was a 2015 concert tour by British boy band Five. Following their comeback success on The Big Reunion and the 5ive Greatest Hits Tour, the band played at theatre venues around England, performing selections from their back catalogue. This is the band's first full concert tour without former founding member Abz Love, thus making it their first as a trio.

Vicky Fallon, also known as Fa11on, is an English singer, songwriter, talent manager and television personality. She was previously engaged to ex 5ive star Abz Love and co-starred with him in their hit documentary series Country Strife: Abz on the Farm, which aired on BBC Two in 2015 and on the subsequent Christmas special Country Strife: Abz on the Christmas Farm.
